Description Dominant Lxm1 plants have leaves with wide, flat, flexible midrib. Wide, flat,
flexible midrib makes upper leaves appear limp. Sometimes ligule extends down
inside midrib, forming an elongated "V" with light green wart-like enations at
its apex. Expression is good at later stages. Genetic 2005 3 coordinates
determined from these recombination and map data: bnl5.37a -6.6- lxm1 -4.3-
bnl8.01 -4- bnl10.24a; lxm1 -8- lg2; sdw2 -8- lxm1; see MaizeGDB ID:66150;
