GRAMENE GENEGR:0201154
Type Gene
Species Zea mays subsp. mays (Maize) [ GR_tax:014546 ]
Germplasm
Description cDNA sequence 75% homologous to carrot threonine sensitive AK-HSDH bifunctional
enzyme. Between umc55 and umc139; antibodies raised against 13 amino acid
sequence cross-react on a native protein blot with maize threonine-sensitive AK-
HSDH (Muehlbauer, 1994,data not shown). Genetic 2005 2 coordinates determined
from these recombination and map data: umc55a -4- akh2 -5- umc139a; see MaizeGDB
ID:66613. This gene was originally curated in MaizeGDB Database and the map
position was displayed on the maize bins map if feasible.
