Description cDNA sequences, SSR umc1526. Merged with csu825, SSR umc1576 based on gene
product information and map location. SSR umc1576 was derived from EST
sequence AW060070 which is in the same Apr 2000 TIGR EST assembly, TC19675,
with csu825. Primers for the P subunit of the mitochondrial enzyme (GDC-P),
designed from oat, pea and Flaveria sequences, give a 400bp product with high
similarity to the GDC-P coding regions; candidate. This gene was originally
curated in MaizeGDB Database and the map position was displayed on the maize
bins map if feasible.
