Description Dominant Gs4 plants are like gs1 but smaller plant. Gs4-1439 is pale green
with longitudinal stripes involving midvein tissue which turns greyish green
under drought stress, and results in small weak plants. Genetic 2005 10
coordinates determined from these recombination and map data: (gs4 -4- T9-
10b(S.40) wx1); gs4 -23- r1; see MaizeGDB ID:935867. This gene was originally
