Description Dominant G6 plants golden; lighter yellowish sheaths. In dominant G6, lighter
yellowish sheaths and culm with near normal green leaf blade. Usually not
expressed in the heterozygote until 4 to 6 weeks after emergence; best at
flowering. Homozygote is bring yellowish green lethal seedling. Expression of
heterozygote poor in some backgrounds and under some conditions. Genetic 2005 9
